C'est Magnifique - part 2

Just popping in with my 3 remaining layouts created with the gorgeous April CM kit A Touch of Refinement.

In the kit I found some perfect items for a pastel, summer page with a modern, mixed media look. I framed a photo of my daughter taken during our promenade by the ocean.
I loved the items in the MMM kit, especially the stencil, which I used here diagonnally.Moonshadow mist is perfect to add the dark stain circles and splashes.
I used items from Main kit, Embellishment Add on and MMM kit. From my  stash:gesso, Prima stamp, archival ink

 With you

I kept this layout simple, playing with the straight lines, layers and a mix of geometric shapes. The tags are cut out from one of the Riddersholm papers and make a nice variation in the layering.
I used items from Main kit, Embellishment Add on and MMM kit. From my  stash: circle stencil and modelling paste

You make me happy

I picked a photo of me and my daughter which was taken in an old castle and I tried to keep the whole page in a truly elegant, feminine style.
As one of the layers, I used the packaging from MME stickers which were in the embellishment add on.
The papers in the main kit have so many variations and nuances of patters and colours, which is perfect to make tags and arrange them in the layers.
I used items from Main kit, Embellishment Add on and MMM kit. From my stash: dies, old lace.

C'est Magnifique - With love

For my first layout I wanted to play with a combo of purple, white wash and copper accents. I layered paper pieces and tags, and brushed them randomly with gesso.
I added a chipboard frame to bring forward our photo and I added an embellishment cluster to create a compositional triangle of flowers.
I used items from Main kit and MMM kit. From my  stash: Sizzix oval frame die, gesso, copper paint and few brads.

C'est Magnifique - La vie
The kit is perfect to go vintage style, so here's a layout featuring myself :) I edited my photo in the photo editor to create this vintage sepia look.
My inspiration comes entirely from the paper pattern and colours -I have added some stamping and flourish masking in the background. I filled up the flower cluster with some leaves and flourishes, cut out with various dies and the papers from the main kit.
I used items from Main kit, Embellishment Add on and MMM kit. From my  stash: gesso, flourish stencil, stamp, paper doily.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I will soon share my other works created with the CM kits :)

Today I'm sharing a layout, prepared for my Guest Designer post at Berry71bleu!

I have received a beautiful tag from Marivic. Its colors and style totally enchanted me, so my whole page is inspired by it. From the current challenge mood board I picked the lucky theme, using the bingo images and the doily patterns. Thank you Marivic and Berry71bleu team for having me :)

Beautiful - Scrap Around The World March moodboard

I hope everyone is doing great, half way through March already!
Things are happening continuously at Scrap Around The World and we have a mid month reveal of DT works. We also have a new member joining our DT! Check it all out here!

...and once again, the beautiful SATW moodboard

Plenty of inspiration can be taken from here, I picked the colours, the layers from pic # 1, the branches in bloom from pic # 3 and the painted patterns from pic # 5.
I used a paper from UHK Tropical Fruits line and some scraps of paper, along with gesso, mists and paints to create a messy, artsy background. Embellishments are kept easy.

Thank you friends for visiting me today and even more, if you leave some words , I truly appreciate that!

What matters the most - OUAS March challenge

Hey there:)
Once Upon a Sketch has just revealed a new challenge and I created this layout as my DT entry:

Journalling Theme: be inspired by this quote..

There are many ways of doing it 'right' and I think one of them is to appreciate and find joy in the small things in life. That thought  inspired my title and journaling which is on the backside of my layout.

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is!
