CSI BIRTHDAY Blog Hop

___________________________________________________________________________________
CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration turned one this month, and we've been celebrating with fun and festivities all month long. But what's a birthday party without presents?
We are rounding out CSI's birthday celebration with a huge pile of presents! The talented and very generous CSI design team, aka the CSI Detectives, have prepared special blog posts for you this week, and all you have to do is leave a comment on participating design team members' blogs for a chance to receive a present from them! The more blogs you comment on, the more chances you'll have to receive a gift!
We also have the brand-new company Blue Fern Studios joining our blog hop! Our very own Detective Michele Singh is the designer of this company's beautiful chipboard, and we are delighted to have Blue Fern Studios join us to celebrate our birthday on the month they were introduced to the world!
The CSI Birthday Presents Blog Hop will run from January 25 - 29. Winners will be announced in our Full Disclosure (Announcements) Forum the following week. A newsletter will go out to members once this announcement is posted.
Here is a list of the blogs you will want to visit:
Zanka (Zaneta Glowa) you are here :)

And here are the Case File and Coordinates images:

Here is how I solved this case -I went for a feminine theme, a bit artsy, restless, featuring my friend C. who celebrated her B-day recently. I made this canvas as a present for her - I think it reflects her nature very well:)
Evidence:string , dangles something, something translucent
Testimony:tag with string ( with my wishes on it)

Some tips about the techniques:
-to achieve this worn out effect on the paper edge, I slightly moisten it with water and form carefully with fingers. Then I dry it with the embossing tool to keep the desired distressed look.
-for this kind of random stamping, I use the staps without the acrylic block. You just need to trust your hand or do it quickly so you don't get a blurred, duplicate image ;)
Paper elements are from 7 Dots Studio.

Now onto the sweet part:)
If you like vintage and make your own embellishments, I picked some stuff from my treasure box to share with you. The laces and doilies are vintage items mainly from the flea markets- you might not be able to find them elsewhere :)
There are some stamps great for background stamping and few pieces of wood veneer which I used in my case #53. If you have some heavy duty dies like Sizzix TH , you can easily cut some own patterns.

To win my RAK, you just need to leave a comment under this post.
I will be happy if you become a follower of my blog, but it's not required. But you need to be or become a CSI member because we will announce the winners there and we will contact the winners via the message function there:)

Happy Hopping and crafting :))) If you want to go again, Adrienne Ford is your first stop. Good luck!

Your LO is so fun and full of so many pretty elements. I like the random stamping. You can stamp like this using a bottle as well. With the bottle you can stamp as much of the image as you like and not as much chance of getting it blurred...especially on an almost finished LO. I have covered up so many boo-boos in my time! lol
Thank you for sharing and inspiring on this amazing blog hop. So much to see! :)
