Summer moment - mixed media on kraft

I'm saying farewell to August with another summer project, capturing a moment from our vacation, a walk through the fields.

Mixed media, stencils, stamping and gesso on kraft is definitely my style , or at least one of them ;) so for the first time I'm playing at Kraft it up challenge 'Your style'

I really like this technique, combining gesso and watercolours. I'm using heavy weight kraft cardstock which allows to apply generous amounts of media , play with water, dry with the heat tool - all that without deforming. The prime layer of gesso allows to control the colours of water paints, which I'm applying with wet brush or fingers and spraying with water. Wet paint can be cleaned with water and paper towel leaving hardly a trace on gesso, if it comes out wrongly ;)
