A night before Christmas - for Zeus and Zoe

Hi there!
December days just disappear in the blink of an eye...one week left to Christmas Eve??? can it be true?
Here's a latest layout which I did with my DT kit from Zeus and Zoe etsy store. My daughter was dressed as gingerbread girl and I thought it a perfect shot to frame with the vintage goodies from my kit :)

One December day...

Hello!
Although I don't have a December Daily, I have a little cosy December scene to share today: my daughter decorating her 'pepparkakshus'.
Luckily she didn't eat up all the candies before the house was ready :)
I used the beautiful Christmas collection from Maja Design, A Gift for You, plus some leftovers from older papers and Prima flowers.

Last project for DT OUAS

It's a bit sad post today, showcasing my last DT project for OUAS. You have probably seen the announcement about OUAS blog closure.
Well, I hope you take the chance to play with us one more time! Let's make it the biggest month EVER!

Here's my take on the theme for this challenge:

December it's s my birth month, it's also my 12th month with OUAS DT and I'm celebrating this with a layout about me. On the backside I placed a personal note to myself.

Journalling Theme: "It's December..." 

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is! 

Christmas cards in pastels

Hello there!
Somehow I couldn't get going with Christmas cards this year, but now even I start slowly to feel the spirit :)

I like to play with some non-traditional schemes and my first 2 cards came out in pastels.
I picked some lovely collections from Maja Design to play with (Vintage Frost Basics, Vintage Summer Basics) and my Big Shot was steaming hot. I prepared almost the same base in grey tones for both cards, just decided to spice it up with different colours of embellishments.

Time flies - Words & Paintery

Hello!
Few weeks ago a new challenge blog was started and it gives just the kind of inspiration I really like, it's not too obvious, just giving enough to kick the creative process.
October word is Paintery.

Paitery inspired me to create watercolour effect on the plain cardstock. I stamped the roses with the different stamps, I added colours, highlights and shadows , using watercolours and white pen.
I finished of with some background stamping, splatters and white stencil.

Vacation memories

Perhaps I'm boring saying this over and over again but November is no fun in this part of the world...
The only positive thing I can find are the long, dark , early evenings = more time spent at home = more time for crafting - hopefully :)
It's already hard to believe that only a week ago we've been wearing shorts and tank tops... I hope our charged batteries will last until the cosy December starts :)

Seaside memories

I feel I'm a bit distant from my blog nowadays - life's just too busy ! But I hope it's gonna change soon, as the evenings get longer and longer in our part of the world and crafting is such a cosy way of spending this time ;)
Anyway, I do have a new layout to share, which I made recently. I just wanted to play with some beautiful papers so I've chosen these gorgeous lines by Maja Design.

Beautiful-mixed media canvas for Zeus and Zoe

It's my day today on Zeus and Zoe blog and I'm sharing a mixed media canvas.
I created it using almost entirey the product from my Zeus and Zoe kit, only adding some media from my stash (modpodge, gesso and matte medium). I had soooo much fun working on this project!

Just popping in to share my latest layout. You might recognize that I've been playing with my 7 Dots Studio box ;) anyway, I came up with this page for 7 DS challenge ' 5 senses'

Supplies: papers, stickers, chipboard - 7 Dots Studio. I also produced 7 DS cabochons, using rests of papers from Wonderland and the round glossy stickers :)

Fleeting moments - 13 arts challenge

Hello!
During this year moodboards have become my favorite kind of challenges and a source of inspiration.
This time I picked the current moodboard challenge at 13arts to play with .

The challenge is about using the moodboard and the mists - I used 13 arts mists to create the background (I sprayed them through the old lace to get an irregular pattern). I also created the mosaic pattern in the frame, by blending drops of mists with UTEE.

My inspiration came from the colours of the  bottom right picture in the moodboard:

This is happiness- Zeus & Zoe DT

Hi there!
On my return from vacation , a fat brown box arrived from the overseas and was expecting me at our post collection point :)
It was my DT pack from Zeus and Zoe etsy shop, filled with the generous amount of scrapbooking vintage items, many of them authentic one-of-a-kind ! I sat down to work straight away and today I'm happy to share my first project for Zeus and Zoe DT.

Last project for Scrap Friends/kreative koncepts

My 6 months DT term for Scrap Friends/kreative koncepts store has come to an end...where did the time go?
I had a grand time with this amazingly talented team and I have seen a great share of spectacular project submitted for our challenges. Not to mention the pleasure of monthly shopping at kreative koncepts and the regular inflow of 'pizza' boxes from Australia - my post office must have been puzzled;)

Anyway-I'm closing my term with our colour challenge and in June we serve a set of refreshing greens.

Catch the moment

I guess I'm on a sketch wave ;)
This lovely sketch at Dusty Attic caught my eye today and, as I happened to have some own time during the day, it was just what I needed to set me in a creative mood in my dungeon :)

Dusty Attic chipboards I used here: DeVine Frame set and Corner Flourish. Got mine at kreative koncepts store.
